This is the third book written by this author that I have read. She is super at creating a world that one would love to live in. She combines strong, vivid characters with little bits of magic. They are a fun, light read.
This particular book is about a teenage girl, Emily and her struggles as she returns to her mother's hometown to live with her grandfather. Emily must live with people in the town who do not seem to like her because of things her mother did. Julia, Emily's neighbor, is also a central character. She is living in the town on a "two year plan" until her circumstances allow her to move back to Baltimore. She grew up as a foe of Emily's mother and the other "popular" girls. She had a few struggles as a teen that still haunt her today, including her high school crush, Sawyer.
Well, that is just the tip of the iceberg for this book. It was a really great, easy book to read. I would recommend to someone who enjoys romance, mystery, and a little magic!
Thanks for reading my review! Hope it helps you decide to read this book.

I was bored.
I was checking out bn.com and noticed how many people have blogs about book reviews. I thought that sounded fun. So I am going to try it! Right now I have about 25 books on my nook that I have not read. And just finished a book so that will be my first review. Anyway, I hope anyone that reads my blogs enjoys my opinion of the books I read. Happy day!
